Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Alboo. By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.
1. The App
Alboo helps you arrange selected photos into albums, edit their presentation, and create PDF exports. The App currently works without an account, advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
2. License and store terms
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Alboo for lawful purposes on devices you own or control. Your use is also subject to the applicable app store’s terms, including Apple’s standard End User License Agreement when it applies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory app-store terms, the mandatory terms control to the extent of the conflict.
3. Your photos and content
You keep ownership of your photos, album titles, and other content. You grant Alboo only the device-level access needed to process that content at your direction and provide the App’s features. Alboo does not acquire ownership of your content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use, edit, export, print, or share the photos and other content you select.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, use it to violate another person’s rights, or use exported material unlawfully.
5. Device permissions and local storage
Core features require access to photos you select. If you deny or revoke access, some albums may not display or export correctly. Album records and display copies are stored locally, so deleting the App, clearing its data, losing the device, or changing backup settings may permanently remove them.
You are responsible for maintaining any device or file backups you need. Original photos remain subject to the behavior of your system photo library and cloud-photo provider.
6. Exports and third-party services
When you share an exported PDF, you choose the destination through your operating system. Third-party apps, print providers, cloud services, and recipients operate independently and may apply their own terms, fees, and privacy practices. Alboo is not responsible for their handling of a file after you share it.
The optional feedback form opens in your device’s default browser and is provided by Tally, a third-party service. Submitting feedback is voluntary, and its handling is described in our Privacy Policy and Tally’s own terms. By submitting feedback, you allow the developer to use it to improve Alboo without obligation to you.
7. Intellectual property
Except for your content and third-party materials, the App—including its software, interface, visual design, branding, and documentation—is owned by the developer or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
8. Updates and availability
The App may change over time. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed, and an update may be required for continued use. Reasonable efforts are made to keep Alboo available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alboo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of photos, albums, exports, profits, or data; or losses caused by third-party services, device failure, revoked permissions, or events outside reasonable control. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
11. Termination
You may stop using Alboo at any time and uninstall it. Your permission to use the App ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to Alboo or applicable requirements. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the App or its store listing when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
